Founded by Jim Fry in 2008 and first opened to the public in 2012, the museum documents the pivotal role that military aviation played in America’s emergence as a world power during World War II. The museum also boasts an impressive collection of World War II vehicles, including the Ford GPW, the M3A1 Scout Car, the M2A1 Half Track, and the Chevrolet Airfield Crash Truck.
