Josh and Brad, founders of Falling Star Heating and Cooling, proudly served in the military. Though they didn’t serve side by side, their paths crossed in a remarkable way. Brad had known Josh’s late wife, who lost her life in Afghanistan, and helped preserve parts of her memorial before the base was shut down. Years later, Brad unknowingly moved in next door to Josh — and during a game night with their kids, they discovered the powerful connection they shared.
That night sparked a lasting friendship. As they spent more time together, attended church, and supported one another’s families, they felt a shared calling to serve again—this time, right here at home. Josh had already begun training as an HVAC technician, and Brad joined him. Together, they built something more than a business. In 2021, they launched Falling Star Heating and Cooling, named after Josh’s street in Fountain, CO.
Today, their mission has grown to include full-service plumbing alongside heating and cooling. From leaky pipes to broken AC units, they’re proud to provide dependable, honest work that reflects the same values they upheld in uniform: service, integrity, and community.
